The responsibilities of the Operational Division of International Relations include the provision of information and consulting services for scientists regarding funding possibilities, funding bodies, and scholarships, predominantly on an EU- and international level.EU-Projects and other International Research Projects
- Administrative support of EU projects and other international research projects (e.g., NIH, HFSP)
- Cost calculations, finances
- Targeted information and consulting services for potential applicants of EU funded projects and other international research projects
- Assistance in the application process, preparation of administrative documents, review
- Support during contract negotiation, including syndicate agreements
International Cooperation and Scholarship Agreements
- Administration of the EUROLIFE Network
- Administration of the Göttingen International Health Network
- Building and nurturing of international cooperation between universities
- Scholarship agreements for international and German PhD students, postgraduate scientists, and medical doctors during their advanced training phase
